About Me

My name is Lara Mumby-Croft. I am an emerging artist based in Christchurch, New Zealand with a life long passion for art and design. In November 2013 I successfully completed my BFA at Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design, Auckland, New Zealand.

As an artist my practice is multidisciplinary and I am interested in the unconscious human mind and how this affects cultural behaviors and emotions in society. I am currently exploring these elements through general responses to human hair.
